This taught programme is designed for graduates of any bachelor's degree – from arts and engineering to teaching and social sciences – who wish to expand their career prospects and increase their earning potential. Previous business experience is not required.
Over 12 months, you'll hone your skills in all aspects of business and management: planning for strategic growth, marketing, digital business, economics, financial analysis, managing people in organisations, global business, supply chain management, design thinking and innovation, and sustainable and responsible management.
Master of Digital Business
Waikato's 1 year Master of Digital Business is unique in New Zealand, as it focuses on using technology from a management perspective. If you're keen to pursue a career as a tech-savvy manager, this highly practical masters degree will show you how to harness the power of digital technologies to revolutionise an organisation's business operations.
You'll complete a professional industry internship where you'll work on real projects at an organisation of your choice for 8-13 weeks, either in New Zealand or overseas. You'll also complete an applied research project investigating a problem or opportunity related to digital business at a real organisation.
By the time you graduate, you'll be ready to lead digital transformation projects and strategies on behalf of organisations - as a manager or consultant.
